The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie two Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render services into the community.

SASSA will be rendering companies which include new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer care enquiries, in addition to the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency explained it's alarmed concerning the superior variety of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The intention of the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is sassa status check to reach-out into a high variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This can be mainly because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no thoroughly functional office dedicated to service the area on a regular basis. The service level made for intervention encounters a substantial inflow of opportunity beneficiaries, that makes it tough for the office to attend status sassa to all people who visit a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise additional assets to allow the servicing of all prospects and enhance access to Social Assistance companies,” the agency said.
